Contactless Giving Campaigns

From time to time we run contactless giving campaigns for Parish Buying members to take advantage of. Through partnering with external organisations these campaigns are aimed at providing churches with an opportunity to take up a contactless giving solution at no cost or at a reduced price.

Contactless kit giveaway sponsored by Visa

April 2019 - December 2019 (Now Closed)

At Parish Buying we teamed up with Visa and SumUp to provide churches with the equipment needed to receive contactless donations in churches. There were 300 stands, 300 card readers and 200 tablets up for grabs. The stand was specially designed to fit a 7inch Android tablet and a SumUp reader, and is equipped with a notice-holder to help support donations.

Ely Diocese card reader offer

Christian Aid Week and GoodBox trial

April - June 2019 (Now Closed)

Christian Aid and GoodBox partnered up to raise funds for Christian Aid Week. Christian Aid invited churches to take part in raising funds for Christian Aid Week by hosting a GBx Core contactless payment device free of charge in their church. Participating churches had the option to buy the device at a discounted price once the campaign has ended.
