Give A Little donations app
The Give A Little donations app has been specially developed in collaboration with Parish Buying to ensure that church goers and visitors can make donations to your church with total ease. The premium version is free of charge for Parish Buying members.
Give A Little works by connecting with a payment processor—SumUp—to process donations and pay them into your church’s bank account. Give A Little can also be used for online giving; you can read about how that works here.
How it works
In just two simple steps someone can make a donation contactlessly with their card or smartphone:
- Donor selects the amount they want to give on the tablet.
- Donor taps their card on the SumUp card reader (or insert the card and enter PIN for donations over £100).
What you need to get started with the Give A Little app
- A Give A Little account, connected to a SumUp account.
- A SumUp card reader.
- An Android phone or tablet with an internet connection.*
If you are setting up contactless donations in your church for the first time, click the button below to register with Give A Little and then create an account with SumUp, at which point you will be able to order a card reader. You will need to login or register with Parish Buying in order to view this button.
*If you have or intend to purchase a CollecTin More or Payaz GivingStation the card reader and tablet are supplied as part of your device but you will still need to create a Give A Little account by following the steps below.
