Free Ink and Toner Recycling

A message from Toshiba, our photocopier supplier: 

We are pleased to inform you that Toshiba TEC, in collaboration with various Ink and Toner cartridge manufacturers, has become a part of the ‘Circular Planet: a printing industry initiative’. This initiative is a multi-branded cartridge collection program managed by Close the Loop, the world’s leading provider of Ink and Toner consumable take-back services.

The objective is to streamline the collection process of used Ink and Toner consumables from both OEM Toshiba and participating manufacturers into a single Eco collection box. This process is expected to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. With Close the Loop’s capability to collect various brands, we anticipate a substantial increase in the number of cartridges collected. This will ensure a decrease in the number of cartridges ending up in landfills, aiding us and other manufacturers in achieving circularity. The cartridges will either be recycled at Close the Loop or repurposed to manufacture new cartridges. This collective effort will contribute to environmental conservation by preserving natural resources. 

Please note that the Circular Planet collection program is designed exclusively for the disposal of cartridges from original printer manufacturers (OEM). Cartridges manufactured by third parties are not eligible for placement in the collection boxes.

The program is complimentary for registered users and encompasses the provision and collection of all Eco collection boxes. It is intended to alleviate the challenges associated with collecting and returning used OEM consumable cartridges for recycling.
